TOM PETERSSON’S WATERSTONE 12-STRING LIGHT SHOW BASS

Tom Petersson, bass player for legendary pop-rock band CHEAP TRICK, plays a variety of unusual instruments. This bass was commissioned for their 40th anniversary tour, and was delivered the day before they left. It’s a WATERSTONE TP-12, which was disassembled and modified into a light show 12-string bass, with custom circuit boards and light boards, utilizing 15 high-intensity LEDs and powered by a transformer/footswitch that used 110VAC power. In the photos, it’s shown with a stock TP-12 for comparison. This bass is a monster sound machine!
