"COWBOY BROWNBURST" 730S DREADNOUGHT 6-STRING

This 730S Shiloh 6-string was one of the last half-dozen Rickenbacker acoustic guitars that were built by Studio California under license. It features a light Violet-Brown-to-Dark-Chocolate burst on the premium Engelmann Spruce top, and shaded Indian Rosewood sides and book matched back. Gold-plated Grover State-Tite 18:1 tuning machines are fitted, and it sings through an LR Baggs "Anthem" dual-element pickup system. The "Teardrop" pick guard encircling the sound hole is not the usual gold-painted clear acrylic, but instead is tortoise-shell-patterned acrylic to provide a more subtle color contrast to the top. The "flash" at the very bottom of the guitar is made of Padauk, and has been paint-shaded to give some visual interest to this oft-overlooked detail element.
